Rogue Angels
Rogue Angels are a UK hard rock band blending classic songwriting instincts with a modern, heavier edge. The band features Mikey “Dream” Clorley-Jones (lead vocals), Ian Edwards (lead/rhythm guitar), Joe Evans (lead/rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Dominic Gallagher (bass), and Darren Collins (drums).
Originally formed under the name Gung Ho, the band built their early sound around a direct, hook-driven approach—summed up by their mantra: “Don’t bore us, get to the chorus.” This energy carries through into their upcoming second EP, Right Side of Midnight, a release that nods to their roots with big riffs, bold hooks, and an unapologetically classic hard rock feel.
With the addition of Dominic, Joe, and Darren, Rogue Angels have evolved into a tighter, more dynamic unit. Their sound is now pushing into heavier, more contemporary territory, blending hard rock with modern metal influences. This shift is marked by their rebrand to Rogue Angels—a name that reflects a more defined identity, stronger visual direction, and a growing narrative around the band’s creative output.
Central to that narrative is Kane, a recurring character used across artwork and releases, giving the band a distinctive visual identity and an evolving story that runs alongside the music.
Operating fully independently, Rogue Angels write, record, produce, and manage every aspect of their work. This DIY approach has allowed them to retain full creative control while building a strong, hands-on understanding of today’s music industry.
Their debut EP Hometown, released under the Gung Ho name, generated over 20,000 views on Facebook and more than 150 shares, alongside widespread radio support. The single Seven Year Itch was named Best Rock Release of January 2024 by Wrexham City Radio, with additional airplay from Circle8 Radio, Rock Rage Radio, Hard Rock Hell Radio, Amazing Radio, Emerging Band Radio, and Radio Wigwam.
Radio Wigwam has continued to champion the band across multiple shows, culminating in a nomination for Best Bandat the 9th Annual Radio Wigwam Awards, held at The Bedford in Balham.
Rogue Angels are now focused on delivering a high-impact live show, showcasing a powerful set of original material that reflects their evolving sound, identity, and ambition.
